Oba, with its kilometers of sandy beach, is one of Alanya's favorite settlements. Oba is an extremely modern residential area in the east of Alanya, where touristic and local life intertwine. Everything in Oba is to make things easier for the people living in this region. There are many markets and cafes. There are numerous businesses all over Oba such as butchers, shops, pharmacies and some big grocery stores. There is also a market place selling clothes and souvenirs on Mondays.
Oba is one of the ideal points of Alanya with the city center in the west and Tosmur, Kestel and Mahmutlar in the east.
